Welcome
Well I've finally gotten around to setting up my blog. My plan with this is to update it the best that I can while I'm deployed and allow everyone to see and read about what's actually going on in Afghanistan. I guess I'll start with some ground rules:
1. These are only my views and what I see going on, it isn't endorsed by the U.S. Army or anybody else. JUST ME! I hope to shed some light on what we're doing here and how effective or not effective we may be.
2. You can post comments and ask questions here however keep them tasteful, I know this may be difficult for some. You associate with me which is a good indicator that your taste may be poor. My nephew and others read this, by the way I have VETO power on if your comments make it onto the site
3. If you support or don't support the war that's fine, that's why I'm in the Army so you can have that right. I'll obviously comment in my blog about how political decisions affect us. I'm not going to debate left vs right!
4. You can give the web address to whomever you'd like that may be interested in ongoing efforts in Afghanistan.
5. I reserve the right to change the rules!

WEll, I wanted to be the first one to comment on your BLOG!! I love you very much and will miss you terribly while you are gone!! However, I know you are doing something that is very important for yourself, the people of the U.S. and our family! Love tons, Boo Boo

Cory, Stay safe over there. Your comments are very interesting and this blog is a great idea...we are all indebted to you and all the members of our Armed Forces as you stablize that crazy region. I'll check in as often as I can...take care, Rob.
